This bold and glamorous stove is the perfect addition to your home. Aesthetically, it works as a stand alone focal point or it can be incorporated into an inglenook fireplace. The Mendip 8 Ivory Enamel is a traditionally hand enamelled stove; the multi-coat enamel process creates a deep, creamy, gloss finish that cannot be achieved with conventional stove paints. This sleek and stylish finish is long lasting and easy to clean.
The Mendip 8 stove has a strong, fully welded, 5mm steel body with a cast iron door, cast iron convection top plate and completed with quality, milled, stainless steel handle and controls. The cast iron components of this stove provide a more constant heat with an increased heat storage capacity opposed to steal, which heats up quickly and provides the intial heat to the room. Its 8kW output will provide enough heat to warm large rooms, which would otherwise feel cold. Each detail of this stove was carefully considered before being added to the design in order to make a durable, aesthetically pleasing stove with a clean and efficient combustion system.
The advanced combustion system has three air supplies: Primary for combustion of registered solid fuels, Secondary/air wash for cleaner glass and combustion, Tertiary air for improved efficiency and cleaner flue gases. Seperately, the fire chamber is insulated with 30mm vermiculite blocks to reflect more heat into the room, instead of losing heat up the chimney or into the surrounding masonary. The large glass pane in the stove door provides a window to view the fire and allows the ambient light of the fire to be felt throughout the room.
