Brick Set for Dinder 40
This replacement brick set is designed specifically for the Dinder 40 stove. It contains four 25mm-thick vermiculite components: two side panels, one rear panel and one baffle. Together, these components protect and insulate the combustion chamber, helping it retain the high temperatures required for efficient combustion.
In the stove, the vermiculite baffle is supported by separate steel wrap components. The steel wrap is not included with this brick set and must be purchased separately if required.
Vermiculite is lightweight and heat-resistant but can be fragile. Handle each component carefully using clean, dry hands or protective gloves. Do not drop, bend or force the bricks into position. Installation must only be carried out when the appliance is completely cold. Refer to the Dinder 40 installation and operating instructions to ensure each component is fitted correctly.
Small surface marks and minor hairline cracks may occur during normal use and do not necessarily require immediate replacement. However, bricks that are badly cracked, crumbling, distorted or missing sections should be replaced before the stove is used again.
During operation, the combustion chamber, door, glass, handle and surrounding components become extremely hot. Never touch the chamber or attempt to remove, adjust or reposition the bricks while the stove is lit or retaining heat. Use suitable stove tools and heat-resistant gloves when refuelling. Do not overfill or overfire the appliance. Always allow the stove to cool completely before inspection, cleaning or maintenance.
